The apartment was great. The location in was a five minute walk from the train (west to Cascais, not the underground), and a one minute walk from a few very delicious cafes and restaurants. Many bus lines were on the corner right outside the apartment - very convenient! The apt itself was very cute, with a bed in the attic space that our teenager loved as her bedroom. We rented this space as we transitioned from the USA to PT as a permanent move. We are learning Portuguese and moved to a more heavily Portuguese neighborhood (Ajuda) after staying in Santos, but Santos was perfect for tue transition as many shop and cafe owners in the immediate area could speak some English. Not that you should rely eon this. It’s your job to learn Portuguese, not their job to know English! But that being said, it was helpful for a smooth transition. I would definitely recommend this apt!

I wouldn't recommend this apartment. The owner is renovating the building and at the same time renting out apartments in the building. There was daily construction going on in the neighbouring apartment on the same floor. During the day, it was so loud that we had to leave the apartment and only stay there in the evenings and at night.
This wasn't communicated beforehand, and we only got a reduction of 100 Euro per month. If you book with this landlord, then check beforehand if they are renovating the building.
The service of the agency was fast and friendly, which was good because we had countless issues (broken furniture, dirty apartment). They only react to things and don't fix problems themselves. Therefore, we had to spend a lot of time to get things fixed.
The apartment has few windows, thin walls and mysterious ventilation with weird smells. On the bright side, the location is good and the kitchen is well-equipped.
I never write bad reviews, but this time I had to make an exception to warn other renters.

Feeling Inn went out of there way to make sure I enjoyed my 6-month stay. I would definitely stay in one of their many amazing apartments they have throughout Portugal.

Great apartment in a great location. All the items you might need are available in the apartment and it's nicely furnished. The pictures are an accurate reflection. My only disappointment was that the place was not properly cleaned when we moved in. There was a lot of black mould in the bathroom around the sink and in the shower. The landlord offered to pay for a cleaner to come in at any time during my stay to make up for this but it was the weekend when I moved in and I didn't want to wait 2 days to have a clean place so I cleaned it myself. But obviously this should have been done before I moved in.
Neighborhood
Lively, artistic. Lots of cafes, restaurants, bars around. Good place to be but a lot of hills so might not be ideal for anyone who doesn't like tough walks.

Nice flat, very good size and location. Wasn't the cleanest when we arrived but the staff were helpful and quick to respond
Neighborhood
Vibrant bar/restaurant/brunch scene. Nowhere near as clean or full of tourists as other parts of town and was nice and quiet for the most part. Young, working professional crowd akin to say a Shoreditch in London.

The apartment is a good size for one person and has a BEAUTIFUL view overlooking a garden with orange trees and the Tagus River in the distance. The apartment is on the ground floor in a historical building, so there was a good amount of noise coming from the street. The internet was stable enough for me to work remotely. There's no central AC or heating, but there are fans and radiators provided. There are two grocery stores, pharmacies, and some cafes and bakeries nearby.
However, I did not have a good experience staying here. The apartment furnishings are not well maintained. When I arrived, the pillows, duvet, and mattress protector were YELLOW, as if they've never been cleaned or replaced. The sofa and arm chair have a musty smell from not being cleaned. The trash can, freezer door, toilet seat, and towel rack were broken when I arrived. The Feeling Inn team was responsive and replaced fixed/replaced most of these things. In the end, I felt like I was complaining too much, even though it was all valid.
However, that wasn't the end of the issues. This apartment is on the ground floor opening up to the street. A man had a key to the apartment and tried to enter at 10 p.m. on a rainy Saturday night. I told Feeling Inn about this and they said it wasn't anyone from their team. They had no idea who this could've been. As a woman traveling by herself, this was very unsettling. I wanted to cancel my lease early, but it was difficult to find other accommodation on short notice. So I requested that they change the lock and they did so without hesitation.
Overall, the Feeling Inn team are nice people, but I can't recommend staying at this apartment.

The staff at Feeling Inn are small but mighty. They are responsive and helpful and knowledgeable about Lisbon. As a woman alone in a foreign country for a longer period of time, they were an important resource. Special shoutout to David for always handling my anxiety well. The apartment was in a really fabulous location close to all of the action, so not always the quietest space, but it felt like a little oasis in the center of it all. Don't be afraid to ask questions - they will answer. I also had to learn a lot about differences in pacing – I come from NYC where everything (theoretically) moves at the speed of light. In Lisbon, it's not the same way but it will get done. Each time I expressed a need, it was met. You are in good hands!
Neighborhood
It's a very "happening" neighborhood. Sometimes a little touristy but you get a healthy cross-section of expats, tourists, and locals because of how much activity there is. There's a ton of public transportation and it's never difficult to walk around/feel safe/access things.

This place is great in terms of security, location and decor. I always could reach someone when I had question or issue (my battery needed to be replaced on my door to enter). They sent someone over to replace the battery which in 30 minutes. I will definitely use this company and landlord again.

Timeout Market! I can’t remember all the other restaurants I patronize, but y’all find something you like on any corner.
Also, you must go to the rooftop bar Java!

Chamei a PSP e a Policia Municipal.
Tudo do pior.
