This unit has the ability to house 5 or 6 people so per person is it a great value. The location is the best reason to stay here. All of the best of Lisbon is easily accessible by walking or by the superb public transportation. Alfama and the Castle are close and having a supermarket almost at your front door is great. The elevator to the square is a wonderful bonus as long as you are in a bit early.
It is an historic, older building.

The apartment was perfect for our needs, with plenty of room and conveniently located in Old Lisbon. The terrace is lovely, and the building is quiet. The owner and their local associates always responded very quickly with questions and when assistance was needed. We would love to stay again when we return to Lisbon.
Neighborhood
Located in Old Lisbon with easy access to buses, train stations and metro. Many options nearby for shopping and restaurants, and centrally located to access all that Lisbon has to offer.

The location makes many of Lisbon's sights and attractions quite accessible. The apartment offered enough space for us to not always feel on top of each other. The private patio area is great with shade from the lemon tree (Which also meant fresh lemonade). Communication and questions were always handled quite quickly. Overall very satisfied with the value we received.
Neighborhood
It is very hilly, with many stairs in the area. If this is ok for you, you will be within 10-20 minutes of walking to almost anything central Lisbon has to offer. Tucked nicely between alfama and the Baixa. There is many many options in every direction.

The public elevator from the street over (next to the restaurant Terroir) is a lifesaver to avoid the big hill back to the apartment.
