When my landlord wasn't willing to provided a good internet connection, Flat.io helped out by paying for an alternative connection after I pointed them to their own help article on guarantees. However, they couldn't really help out when the landlord tried to make me leave before the agreed checkout time. Furthermore, it was quite hard to receive an invoice for my stay – but I did get one in the end so I'm content :)

I would recommend your service, but not for Lisbon. The whole process is very streamlined and with very limited paperwork. I found it good. The problem with your platform is that your listings aren't as competitive as on uniplaces or on facebook expat groups.

I like that there are reviews, and it seems clear and up-front. Many of the other sites I looked didn't have much information from (or about) the landlord. Flatio seems to have the personal touch like A-B-n-B with descriptions and profiles and reviews, but is more suited and more affordable for longer stays.

Its an easy to use platform. And the customer service is easy also through emails and facebook. I would recommend having a telephone no. For each country the platform covers so the communication would be easier and straight forward instead of waiting a day or 2 to get an email reply. I loved not having to pay a deposit I don't know if this is decided by flatio or the landlord but it was great because all apartments usually request a full month deposit and when you are renting for a long time and on an expensive rate its kind of hard to afford another month payment even if it is refundable at the end!

The service fee is too high for one-month rentals. It doesn't make sense. The fee should be adjusted to the length of stay.
